The best red wine in a long, long time. Haven’t been this excited with Bordeaux but this 43-year old wine blew me away. Classic claret aromas of cedar, tobacco, earth and cassis dancing weightlessly on the tongue, as if it were a Burgundy. 5 out of 5 stars

Domaine de la Taille aux Loup Remus Plus 2011
Heard so much about Jacky Blot creating fine wines for Michelin-starred restaurants, and finally was able to try his singular Chenin Blanc. The whites are pure scented Chenin Blanc from Montluis and reds are Cabernet Franc from Bourgeuil.
