A blend of Upper Goulburn and Yarra Valley Pinot Noir fermented as 50% whole bunches and natural yeast. The extended maceration on skins for 30 days gives the wine its wild and sexy dark cherry, loganberries and plum aromas intermixed with forest floor and smoky notes. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Serve coolish at 14-16°C; Enjoyable young and fresh; 13.5% ABV

Gary Mills is a self-taught winemaker who was voted Winery of the Year by Sommelier Australian Association in 2012. He remains a one man show who buys grapes from friends across the Yarra Valley with different terroir and vinifies them in rented cellars. The Jamsheed name is referenced to the Persian King who accidentally discovered wine while trying to make poison. “This is the new face of Australian wine.
