After tinkering with his winemaking, Matthieu Barret decided on fermenting his red wines half in in stainless steel and half in concrete vat, then aging them in demi-muids (600-liter barrels) and concrete eggs. The results are nothing but rustic, and on the contrary, they are very fine and elegant Syrah from one of the Northern Rhone’s top terroir.
